Two Mission accomplished yesterday at B R Hills!

Motivating a group of teenagers of Harvest International School to form a group “Make a Change (MAC)” and start working with us in B R Hills and a few other projects!

Trying to touch the lives of 150 Rural Soliga Tribal children of B R Hills by donating 150 Steel plates and tumblers mobilised by the members of” MAC”and organising lots of activities of games and dance!

A Refrigerator was donated to the kitchen of Vivekananda Girijana Kalyana Kendra School which was sponsored by Bangalore group of Institutions and Pacemakers 86 Trust!

Karkinos were the main sponsorers of this event partnering with our Pacemakers 86 Trust and Bangalore society of Obstetrics and Gyanecology!

About 30 smears were collected from Asha and Anganawadi workers and also the substaff of Harvest International school!

A new cycle was gifted to the daughter of the family Usha,a Class 8 student

Tanvi Prasad daughter of our dear batchmate Dr Nidhi Prasad won a Scholarship for standing 2nd for the State in NATA entrance for the Architecture degree.She spent Rs 20 k of her well earned money in making a family which had lost its Breadwinner to Covid 19 last year super happy!

A new cycle was gifted to the daughter of the family Usha,a Class 8 student and the remaining amount was transferred to the mother’s account to use for the purpose of her children’s education!

200 plus patients from Rural Anekal attended the Monthly Mental health camp held in Anekal General hospital today conducted by the District Mental Health Society!

Pacemakers 86 Trust partnered this camp along with Florida Nursing college of Bangalore group of Institutions!

And a screening Camp for the Soliga tribals of 3 villages deep in the BR Hills forest!

Somanathapura a remote village on the Andhra border in Bagepalli Taluk of Chikkaballapura District!

Today the whole District administration descended with the District Incharge minister for a Village stay programme.

Pacemakers 86 Trust had the privilege of organising a Cervical Cancer screening Camp for the Asha workers and Villagers and a Saamuhika Seemantha programme was organised for about 30 pregnant Rural women!

A huge thanks to Dr S Venkatesh for sending a Medical Bus with Physician, Dentists and Opthamologists and other staff from Aster R V Hospital for a free medical camp for 100s of Villagers!
