A wonderful day for pacemakers 86 trust today…

Along with our senior from AMC Dr Leela Patil and junior Dr Bharathi K Y and a patient of mine we could do 84 snehadaana children super happy today😊😊

A wish list containing 45 remote cars,5 barbie dolls,3 soft dolls,16 chudidhars, 6 frocks, 3 bags, a pair of shoes and a dictionary were fulfilled for those unfortunate kids!!

Giving away never felt so beautiful friends😊😊🙏🏼🙏🏼

4 of the little yoga champs were also felicitated with medal, cup and certificate!!

Deepawali with the leprosy patients

Chikkanayakanahalli in blore east is home to a leprosy colony consisiting of about 40 leprosy patients.

Today pacemakers 86 trust celebrated deepawali with the leprosy patients. ..

About 40 bags containing Rice, wheat packet, oil packet, sugar and a maiya mysore pak packet was distributed to these patients!

Deeyas, sweets, chocolates and lots of love made this deepawali memorable for pacemakers and the leprosy patients. ..

My dear friend Prasanna, an rto officer sponsored this function along with the pacemakers.

Medical camp for MDR Tb and XDR Tb patients

As you are all aware that there is a decline in the incidence of hiv cases and through the very effective ART policy of the government a lot of hiv related complications have drastically reduced!!

Now the focus is slowly shifting towards Multidrug resistant TB and XDR Tb which is creating havoc in the affected individuals and their families..Most of the families have been reduced to abject poverty…

Pacemakers 86 trust partnered with ” Radhakrishna trust” and we organised a medical camp for about 52 MDR Tb and XDR Tb patients of Bengaluru, today.We distributed Rations containing Rice, sugar, wheat powder, cooking oil and a Maiyas Mysore pak pack.Ladies were given a new saree and for males we distributed new dhothis.All the higherups of State TB department were present for the function..A health check up camp was also done!

It was so disheartening to see so many multi drug resistant tb patients ,but by the end of the day we were happy that we brought in a few smiles☺

Free health checkup camp in Varthur

Dear friends…

Today pacemakers 86 trust and PHC, Varthur had organised a mega free health checkup camp in Varthur.

About 350 patients attended

200 patients were screened for diabetes and hypertension

58 patients were screened for cervical and breast cancer

A very satisfying and overwhelming moment for the pacemakers

With immense pleasure and pride we would like to share with you all that we have completed 1 year of “pacemakers 86 trust”!!

It was on 22nd September 2015 that we all joined to form this noble venture…

The last year has been a life changing experience..

Multi speciality camps in rural areas, cancer screening camps, working with hiv children, adopting a leprosy colony with old disabled and mutiliated leprosy patients. ..we hav touched the lives of thousands of our unfortunate brethern and spread lot of smiles 😊

On this wonderful occasion we would like to thank all our batchmates and their families for their precious time, contributions and encouragement!!!

In one year our achievements are

6 major multi speciality camps in rural and semi urban areas with diabetes and hypertension clinics

4 screening camps for cervical, breast and oral cancers

Chennai campaign for flood relief victims.

Weekly yoga classes for hiv +ve children with nourishing food to boost their immunity and self confidence.

Monthly medical camp for 47 leprosy patients of a leprosy colony and distribution of rations and clothes so that they dont go back to begging..

Its been a blessed journey till now and hope we make a million people smile
