Just a stroke of luck that she attended our Cancer screening camp at Mallathahalli phc on 9th March!
Her report was positive for Ca in situ Cervix and yesterday she underwent Hysterectomy performed by Dr Gopika at our batchmate Dr Rajeshmurthy’s AV Hospital!
About to be discharged,and with tears in her eyes she and her family thanked us Pacemakers profusely,for the life we have given her back

But a lady walked up to me and said
“Sir,before you people took over,we used to come 8.30 in the morning and the doctors at 11..
So much of chaos and it was a long wait till 1 without water and food!
Friends, a moment of glory as I realised that we have indeed touched these 150 patients lives so beautifully!
A proud moment for Pacemakers and the District Mental Health Society as we had bestowed the dignity back to these patients

Pacemakers 86 Trust rolled out it’s first CPR training programme.
Envisioning this educational endeavour as an outreach to the community, We intend to educate employees of companies, residents of apartment complexes and students of educational institutes in Basic Life Support with the help of mannequins, presentations and hands on demos.
Today was the 1st Training session in Go-Make My Trip company..
Dr Somalaram Venkatesh gave an authoritative presentation about CPR,cardiac arrest,life style modifications and preventive aspects of Heart diseases.
A huge successful venture of Pacemakers 86 Trust which has the potential of taking us to the next level
