Chennai Campaign

Katchur a remote poverty stricken village in thiruvallur district devastated by the recent Chennai floods was selected for pacemakers 86 trust next activity. With the help of local NGOs our dear friend and member of our trust Dr Avula chakravarthy a renowned neurosurgeon from Chennai organised a function for these underprivileged brethren. On 7-01-2016 Dr Chakravarthy and his wife Mrs Sudha Chakravarthy visited the village and distributed supplies worth Rs 60,000 to the villagers and school children. Daily needs like lungis, towels, umbrellas, soaps, tooth pastes, tooth brushes, mosquito coils, candles, books were distributed to the villagers under the banner of “Pacemakers 86 trust”. A successful venture in the pursuit of giving a little back to the society!
